RECAP
Split our two plays on Thursday. Let me start with the losing play. I can’t understand how Utah can go into Portland in a quick turn-around revenge spot and get drilled by the undermanned Blazers. My “NBA radar” clearly needs some adjusting, as I’m obviously missing something here in the first half of the season. Just can’t get a good hoops run going… yet.
We did cash another bowl game winner as Washington (+13.5) got the big upset win over mighty Nebraska, 19-7. Just goes to show that sometimes motivation can overcome the talent gap. That puts us at 3-1 on our last four bowl plays, with the three wins coming by a combined 81.5 points ATS. Let’s continue to finish the college football season on a winning run.
TODAY’S BUSINESS
I’ve released a 2-Unit play on one of Friday’s bowl games. THANK YOU in advance to those who choose to join us.

#3: PLEASE take a moment to tell your loved ones that you love them. RECAP
Wednesday started with such promise, but ended with a losing night. We started with a nice easy upset winner on the Pistons over Boston. That game was never in doubt, which is rare in the NBA.
The Clippers made sure we didn’t have a winning night in the NBA, as they simply did not come out of the locker room after halftime. Getting outscored 30-13 in the third quarter was the dagger in that one.
But the most disappointing of all was my bowl play on Arizona. While the defense was very game against the nation’s #1 offense, the Wildcats offense played a VERY sloppy game. Turnovers, penalties, bad passes, dropped passes, etc. Just a very poor showing from a team that should’ve been motivated and able to hang with Okie State.
We’ve still got plenty of bowl games left to finish on a nice run and I haven’t given up hope that we’ll do just that.
Bottom line: The college football season will most likely end as a losing one because I will not start forcing plays in an attempt to pull off a winning record. However, I have plenty of time to get rolling in college & pro hoops. With a long hoops season ahead, I’m confident that being extremely selective will have us in the black in both sports by seasons’ end.

RECAP
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: This college football season has been poor. I also said I’d do my best to finish strong. Hopefully, these last two bowl plays are just the beginning of a strong finish.
After getting a 37-point ATS win with Tulsa on Friday, we came right back on Tuesday night with a 19-point ATS win on NC State (+3) over West Virginia, 23-7. So we’ve won our last two bowl plays by a combined 56 points ATS. That’s nice; very nice. But we still have much work to do to properly finish this college football season.
We also snagged an NBA winner Tuesday night as the Knicks battled back in the 4th quarter in Miami and got us a win by the hook. It’s been give-and-take in hoops betting so far. I feel very strongly that a nice hoops run is coming. Stay tuned.
So, all in all, it was a 2-0 Tuesday for +3 Units. Let’s build on that on Wednesday.

RECAP
First, I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas with loved ones. Family time is what it’s all about.
We kicked off the Christmas weekend with a nice 2-Unit win on Tulsa in the Hawaii Bowl. And then came Sunday.
The NFL, which is annually one of my best sports, dealt us an uncharacteristic 0-2 day. It started with a loss on the Jets. They got down 10-0 early, battled back to lead 21-10 at one point, then the bottom fell out. I clearly underestimated Matt Forte’s ability to run at the Jets D.
It looked like we were going to get a split as Seattle (+6.5) jumped out to an early 7-0 lead at Tampa Bay. But Matt Hasselbeck got hurt on the 1-yard scoring run (without being touched). In came Charlie Whitehurst and it was all down hill from there.
Again, you will read about every single loss right here. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Sunday was in the latter category. Everyone needs to realize that even the best cappers have losing weeks, losing months, losing seasons, and even losing years. That’s why it’s called “gambling.” But we won’t get people to understand this if cappers are only ever talking about and posting winning records and winning streaks.
Now, I could gloss over things and say that I’m having a losing season here and there. But I don’t think that really helps anyone, which is why I’m posting ALL of my season records for the year, including Units lost. People need to see the actual numbers to truly understand that sports betting is a major grind, and that losing seasons are common for even the best cappers.
TODAY’S BUSINESS
I will not have plays on the football games tonight. I just don’t have a strong enough feeling on the games to make a big play. I may play a small action Teaser. If I do, I’ll post it in the forums and on Twitter at www.twitter.com/Dwayne_Bryant.
As is my normal routine, any hoops plays will be out by 5 p.m. Eastern, although I usually release them a couple hours before that deadline.
