RECAP

Split on Thursday, but it was a losing day because the bigger play lost.  Many cappers will sugarcoat things by just saying “split yesterday” and they ignore the Units.  Not my style.  People need the WHOLE truth to fully understand the sports betting grind.

We lost the 3-Unit bowl play on Middle Tennessee State, but salvaged something of the night with a 1-Unit NBA win on Oklahoma City.

So a 1-1 day for -2.3 Units.  Now -7.2 Units for the month.  Will I have a losing month? Maybe. Wouldn’t be the first. Won’t be the last. That’s sports betting. Some can handle it. Some can’t.

It’s all about being in the black at the end of the YEAR, just like we were in 2009 AND 2010.

As always, ALL season records are shown at the top of this page, including Units.

I want more guys to take the long-term approach.

For example, we’re now  242-189 (56%) on our last 431 picks overall, dating back to late 2009.  Isn’t that more important than a 10-1 run?  Or even a 1-10 skid?  I think so.

Also, for 2011, I’ll be tweeting every day’s results (win or lose), including Units, as well as YTD results.  Feel free to follow along at www.twitter.com/Dwayne_Bryant.

I couldn’t possibly be any more transparent than this.

I also want people to realize that the best cappers aren’t always the ones with their mouths constantly open.  I prefer to let my results speak for themselves.

I also want more guys to realize just how much of a grind this really is, and that won’t happen if pro cappers keep hiding losing records.

If you see a capper showing nothing but winning records or short-term streaks, you can bet they’re hiding something.

TODAY’S BUSINESS

  • I have a 2-Unit Cotton Bowl play that I’m giving away at www.twitter.com/Dwayne_Bryant
  • Any hoops plays will be released by 5 p.m. ET for long-term clients.

THANK YOU in advance to those who choose to join us.

DAILY REMINDERS

#1: Please use proper money management.  Whether you flat bet my plays or play them according to the Unit ratings, PLEASE bet within your means.

#2: Unless otherwise stated, my daily card is FINAL at 5 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday and Noon Eastern on Saturdays and Sundays.

#3: PLEASE take a moment to tell your loved ones that you love them.  Take a moment to kiss your spouse/significant other, hug your children, call your parents, etc.  Those things are so much more important than betting on any sporting event, and you never know when it will be the last time you see them.

CLOSING

As always, I’d like to say a sincere THANK YOU to my long-term clients.  Your continued support, trust and loyalty are greatly appreciated.  I never take you for granted and I will always work hard to provide you with long-term winning service.

God bless and best of luck.

RECAP

Very disappointing Wednesday.  Dropped a 1-Unit NBA play on Utah -5, as they got embarrassed on their home floor by Atlanta.  Tough scheduling spot for the Hawks, but they more than rose to the challenge.  Absolutely horrible call on my part.

Also took a 2-Unit loss in CBB with Penn State +6.5, as they just could not hang with Purdue for the full 40 minutes as they did the last two times they met at the Bryce Jordan Center.

So an 0-2 day for -3.3 Units.  It sucks, but it happens.  We practice proper money management and we keep grinding away.

  • Any hoops plays will be released by 5 p.m. ET.

RECAP

-1.1 Units on Tuesday.  Picked up another Unit in college hoops with Indiana +9 at Minnesota.  Our CBB record improves to 8-5 (62%) for +2.5 Units.

But we dropped 2 Units in the Sugar Bowl as Arkansas (+3, -105) lost to Ohio State, 31-26.  This is where most cappers on Arkansas are going to bitch about the kid falling on that blocked punt instead of running it 17 yards for the winning TD.  The truth of the matter is: Arky had MANY chances throughout the entire game and just did not execute well enough to win or cover.  And it’s not like Ohio State didn’t make their share of mistakes, too.  So, all in all, the game probably played out exactly how it should have.  We move on.

As always, ALL season records are shown at the top of this page, including Units.

I want more guys to take the long-term approach.

For example, we’re now  241-186 (56.4%) on our last 427 picks overall, dating back to late 2009.  Isn’t this more important than a 10-1 run?  Or even a 1-10 skid?  I think so.

RECAP

Picked up 2 Units in college hoops on Monday, thanks to 1-Unit wins on Northeastern +7.5 and St. John’s +2.  On a personal note, I’ve been a St. John’s fan since the days of Lou Carnesecca, Chris Mullin, Mark Jackson, Walter Berry, etc.  It was great to see them beat a highly ranked Georgetown team and win some money in the process.

Passed on the Orange Bowl.  Just didn’t have a good feel for that one.

So we improve the CBB record to 7-5 (58%) for +1.5 Units.

As always, ALL season records are shown at the top of the home page, including Units.

I want more guys to take the long-term approach.

For example, we’re now  240-185 (56.5%) on our last 425 picks overall, dating back to late 2009.  Isn’t this more important than a 10-1 run?  Or even a 1-10 skid?  I think so.

I want more guys to realize just how much of a grind this really is, and that won’t happen if pro cappers keep hiding losing records.
