 First, I do not mind laying heavy chalk in baseball. I’m not concerned with trying to look smart by playing dogs and small chalk all the time. In some cases, the situation is right to take a shot in this price range. Tell me, how many people thought the Yankees would lose BOTH games at home to start this series? I don’t think anyone truly believed that would happen and I’m among those people (and I’m a die-hard Phillies fan). I purposely passed on Game 1 because I wanted to see how things played out. With the Phillies taking Game 1 handily, I have no problem backing the Yankees to even things up at home tonight.
