  1. My competitors are charging between $175 and $400 for a monthly subscription. But you can gain INSTANT ACCESS to my exclusive premium picks for the incredibly low price of just $55 per month. I win money betting on my picks, so I don't need to charge you a lot.
  2. This is a recurring subscription. That means you will be charged $55 for the first month and $55 for each month thereafter, until you cancel your subscription (you can cancel any time). Finding one good handicapper and sticking with him long-term is much better than jumping from handicapper to handicapper trying to "ride the hot hand." Think about it. How has that worked so far?
  3. You get picks in NFL and college football, NBA and NCAA basketball, and MLB baseball. These are the exact same picks I bet on.
  4. Picks are not rated. No stars, locks, units, Games of the Year, etc. Those are just ridiculous advertising gimmicks. A true pro sports bettor wagers the same amount on each game.
  5. During the signup/payment process, you will choose a username and password. You will use your chosen login set to enter the members area of this site, which will contain your sports picks each day.
  6. You will have access to the members area as soon as the signup/payment process is complete. You can access the members area by clicking the "Members Area Secure Login" link above.

NFL Picks Results 11/23/2008

I ended a 5-1 football weekend with a 2-1 NFL Sunday. All I can say is: If you’ve seen my site and you’ve seen my records at sports-bettors.com and you still have not signed up for my premium picks subscription (just $55 per month covers ALL sports), then you just don’t like winning money.

My Sunday started with [Read more...]

2008 NBA Picks Coming Soon

The 2008 NBA season tipped off tonight.  That means it’s time for me to put my “NBA handicapping hat” on and get down to business on the hardwood.

The NBA season is a long one.  Each team plays 82 regular season games between now and April.  There are games played every day, giving ample opportunity to make money.  Therefore, I don’t rush to get out of the gate.  I like to sit back and watch the first week or so, just to get a feel for each team.  You can expect to see NBA picks in early November.

World Series Game 5 - Phillies vs. Rays

Tonight could very well be the last game of the 2008 MLB season. Although I believe the Phillies will win tonight, I do not see any value in laying -175 in this game.

The Rays are a great team or they wouldn’t have made it this far. And Scott Kazmir can shut down any lineup. So the value lies with the Rays, but I cannot play them because I believe Cole Hamels and the Phillies will wrap things up tonight.

The total is set at 7.5, but I’ll pass. Every handicapper has areas where they struggle and I am not a great baseball totals capper. Believe me, it pays to know one’s limits.

Thanksgiving Day NFL Preview

Happy Thanksgiving. What a day. All the food you can eat, surrounded by family and friends, and NFL football all day and all night. I really don’t know if it gets any better than this. The NFL has added a third game — a night game — to this year’s Thanksgiving Day slate. And this night game figures to be the most competitive of the three. Here’s a brief preview of each game on today’s card. [Read more...]

Gruesome Video: Houston WR Edwards Breaks Leg

Tuesday night’s college football game on ESPN2 between Houston and Marshall was the scene for a very disturbing and unfortunate accident. Houston wide receiver Patrick Edwards suffered a compound fracture of his leg midway through the third quarter. He ran to the left corner of the end zone trying to catch a pass, but then collided full speed with metal carts placed beyond the back of the end zone. This video is pretty gruesome and definitely not for the faint of heart. [Read more...]

2008 NBA Season Tips Off

The 2008 NBA season tips off tonight with games in Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles. A new season raises a lot of new questions. It also brings instant replay into the league. This season, referees can now use instant replay to see if a shot was worth two or three points.

Many question whether or not the Celtics can repeat as NBA champions. Some point out that Boston’s “Big Three” are all over 30-years old and say the team may not be as hungry this time around. While that me be [Read more...]

Philadelphia Phillies Are World Champions

It took nearly two full days, but the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3, in Game 5 to become the World Series champions. Brad Lidge closed out his perfect season by striking out pinch hitter Eric Hinske for the final out. And the celebration was on.

The Phillies were undefeated at Citizens Bank Park in the post season. Young lefty starter Cole Hamels was [Read more...]
